fence line

What is the name of your state? Colorado

My neighbor wants to put up a fence between our properties. We do not have the property line staked off. I don't think he has a correct line but its close. If I let him put up the fence and then a few years down the road, I sell the property and we find out he put up the fence over on my property, will I lose the property or can I have them take down the fence.

*A: either you or he should order a property boundary survey.
