Indiana. I purchased a home 1 year ago. On the seller's disclosure, the sellers indicated the home is not in a flood plain and they are not required to pay flood insurance. While getting our mortgage, we were told we needed to purchase flood insurance, but that with a new survey we would probably not need it. I paid $400 for a new survey and now know the home is in a flood zone and I will have to pay $900 a year for insurance. I cannot believe the previous owners did not know this. Can I go back on them in any way for this deception?
