What is the name of your state? Nevada

Question: I was 3 months late paying my property taxes, but check's in the mail— I got a letter from treasurer's office saying that if they weren't paid by Aug 14th, they would initiatate forclosure— I can't call them today (closed), so my question is, since my check's in the mail, will I be OK?

Thanks for anyone who can answer this!

**A: next time go to their office and pay in cash or via cashier's check.
How should I know if you would be OK?
Call them on Monday and ask them if you're ok.
Do you know how to read?
What does the letter state?
It stated that the account needed to be paid on the 14th. It was not, so they are entitled to start foreclosure and you must pay late fees, legal fees and court costs.
Are you sure you are not 3 years late rather than 3 months?

Yeah, it's "just" 3 months late...only amounts to $500...it said if not paid by the 14th, they would initaiet foreclosure, however, since they'll have the $$ on Monday, i'm wondering if anyone can tell me if they think they'll proceed anyway

Thanks
