michigan - our one year redemption period was up on dec. 8th of 2001....in october of the same year we sold our home. the mortgage company accepted the short pay, but never communicated this to thier attornies........the money was there, but the buyer didn't know where or when to send it.....there were calls made, but none returned.......we are now in eviction because the redemption period is now passed......we are now in being evicted due to lack of communications between attornies and thier client....what now?

How can you sell your home and remain as tenants? And if you sold to a third party, that would be a short sale. If you gave the mortgage company the property, that would be a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure.

Confusing post.
