What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? North Carolina. My mom and dad have been divorced for over a year now and she just found documents that showed that she was part owner with my dad of land that he acquired from his parents. The way that she found out, however, was that on the documents her signature had been forged. The parcel of land was sold to my dads sister and my mom had no idea that this was even done. This took place in September of 2009. Does my mom have any way of receiving compensation or pressing charges? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
