Unhappy

I live in one of six attached villas - single story in a condo situation.

My neighbor planted two fruit trees several years back in front of his condo in the back. This is common ground and it shouldn't have been allowed. He says it is now grandfathered in.

My question is the tree instead of growing up like it should it grows to the left obstructing my views from my bedroom and also from my lanai. Everyone else can see directly to the pool. Sometimes when it is let go it blocks my direct path to the common pool in the center behind our villas making me side step to the left instead of walking directly forward.
Do I have any rights here in regards to egress or ingress or encroachment or whatever? Can I trim the part that is obstructing my walking directly to the pool?

You need to talk to the Association and ask them these questions. I do not know what the legal documents state, what components are common areas and if the trees are really grandfathered.
