I have lived in my apartment for almost 5 years. Two years ago my boyfriend "moved himself in". Being the strong willed, bull headed person I am, I suprised myself by not saying anything because I thought this was "the one". It turns out not to be so and after asking him numerous times to leave I told him "I can have you removed from here". He said "How is that?" I said "because this is my apartment, you pay no bills, only buy groceries, and your name is not on the lease" and he said "I guess you have never heard of squatter's rights". Is this true??? Can he do this???

He is an idiot. Have the landlord evict him. Or, tell him is his lazy ass isn't out by nightfall, the police have his own personal piece of property where he can squat all he wants.
