I've been divorced for 3 years and am now thinking about getting married again. My house still has my ex-wife's name on both the deed and the mortgage. How do I get her off both. I would rather not refinance. Please advice.

Unless your bank signs a release saying they have no claim on her for the mortgage, her name will remain on the mortgage.

SHE shouldn't deed her interest over to you until her name is off the mortgage. Talk to your bank.
