My girlfriend and I broke up after buying a house. Both names on the title, both names on the loan. It was my decision. She is living in the house, I have moved out. She can definitely afford to stay in the house, but there is very little equity in it.
If she buys the house from me could she sue me for the closing costs?
Or if we decide to sell can I be accountable for the loss which we'll definitely take on it?
Finally, what happens if one of us wants to sell and the other doesn't?
