| | | got over the line I purchased some land in paulding county, Georgia about two years ago. When I purchased the land I asked for a survey. I was told by the agent that one and been done and that he would show me the lines, which he did and together we flaged them. About a year ago my husband started roughing in a drive way. The next door neighbor came over and said that he thought that was his land. My husband told him no that it was what the agent showed us was ours but suggested to him if he really thought it was his then he sould get a survey. About a year after that which was in July we hired some one to come and finish the drive way. The grader was there for two weeks and the neighbors never said a word. On the day that the grader finished the neighbors got a survey and it showed that about twenty foot or so if our drive way was on their land. as well as about 2 or three foot of our pipe that was in the creek. We told them that we would move the part of the drive way that was on their land which we did, but we did not move the pipe. they still are not happy. Can they sue us? Also let me say that they have put a four wheeler trail which they ride the four wheelers on all over our land. |

| | | Yes, they can sue you because you are encroaching onto their property.

| | | | I don't know what they want really. We have done all we can. You must understand when I say we put our drive way on their land I just mean we graded our drive way on their land, meaning we put our dirt on thier dirt, it's not like we put gravel or cement or anything like that. |

| | | | Couldn't you ask them what they are unhappy about and try and find a compromise? |
