help! cancelled lease the day I was to move in!

I currenltly reside in Vero Beach Florida. I signed an annual lease to commence on August 15. I called the landlord on August 15 to cancel the lease as my husband and I reconciled our differences. I gave the landlord $1300.00 for the first and last months rent, am I eligible for my money back?

No, because you will default. You will get a refund if the property is rented again before 2 months rent has accrued.
