my father died and left a life estate to his current wife. her lawyer sent us papers stating she has a buyer for the house and wants a huge percentage. my father lived in fla. what rights do i have? can we (my brother and sister) stop the sale. what percentage is she entitled to? please hurry time is running out for us to reply.
