Here's one for you HG :D

What is the name of your state? Tennessee

We recently had an offer on 1.7 acres so that a railroad spur could be built for a new container factory. Well, as family is wont to do, one member of the 15 owners said "NO"!

CSX Railroad did not want to start Eminent Domain against all 15 because it would be a mess. So here's the solution we came up with (and I use 'we' constructively).

Our share of this portion of the 464 acres will be purchased by a third-party. He will deed the property shares to the container factory who needs the spur. CSX Railroad will file Eminent Domain against the now two owners. Container factory will not oppose.

We got our money, the railroad will begin construction and the lone family member has just screwed himself ....

Forget creative financing...I love creative attorneys.
