Michigan Home Owners Association. When in conflict, which takes precedence, the recorded Covenants or the non-profit corporations bylaws?

Generally speaking, association CC&Rs are recorded with the title, and enforcable by law. The home owners assiciation can put liens against a property if in violation of the CC&Rs or late on association dues. It happens. I'm not sure what you mean by non profit corporation bylaws, or what connection they have to your association.

Michigan Home Owners Association. We are filed as a non-profit Corporation and have Corporation Bylaws. One Article of the bylaws describe one vote per member regardless of number of parcels owned. The Covenants recorded on title gives one vote per parcel owned, in conflict with bylaws. Which takes precedent? Thanks.
