Question

house involved, no will when mother passed

What is the name of your state? MARYLAND HI, my mother passed away 12 years ago without a will. both my brother & myself were living in the house with her. we made my brother the executor. i had to move out he was just to possesive. now my sisters & my self want to se about selling the house. we never recieved any paper work from the attorney at all. i guess my brother has it all & he never told us, were not allowed in the house. how do i go about the sale of the house. do i need to contact a real estate attorney or a probate attorney? just want to start the ball rolling.

**A: if there was no probate, you need to follow the State law.
You will not be able to sell the property unless given approval by the Probate Court.
