How to Avoid a Mechanic's LeinWhat is the name of your state? MO We are having some home remodeling done with a General Contractor. What form/paperwork should we get when the job is done to make sure none of the sub-contractors or suppliers can put a lein on our home? Is there a Lein Wavier or something? How do you all handle this when doing remodeling (or any contracting work)? It sounds like a lot of people don't bother! I'm just the cautious type. Thanks, |
