I want to hire an attorney for an eviction in nys what does this usually cost for legal fees?

The attorney will cost a minimum of $250, + $100-$200 in legal costs. Frankly, it will be cheaper & faster if you bribe the current tenants into moving. Many a tenant who claims they can't possibly find a new place in 30 days will suddenly find an apt if you promise them $300 cash the day they move out (if the place is clean). They also are a lot less likely to trash the place before leaving.

Sorry tracy here in New York City a tenant would laugh at you for $300...try $3000 to cover moving costs.....and

The easiset way to get an apat. is thru a broker who charges 15% of the first years rent.yes highway robbery

so $1200 a month x 12 months $14400 x 15%= $2160 just to a broker for his FEE!

plus moving...minumum $3000
