I currently own residential real property with my mother.
The Deed is titled as Jane Smith And John Brown.
How does New York view this form of ownership? (Joint Tenants W/ROS or Tenants in common)
Considering the following what would be the best form of ownership?
Mother is elderly and has high unpaid uncollaterized debt.
Current refinance mortgage is in sons name only and makes all payments.
Both mother and son live in property.
Son is married, mother is not.
