I got scammed

I live on a piece of property surrounded by two nurseries. My property has an easement along the east side in favor of one piece of property directly to the north of mine. Directly next to my easement is another easement or right of way called bicycle path which for the last fiftes years according to Ariel photos and surveys was used to access property in the nursery. In the last year A house was constructed on a plot of land which the nursery surrounds to the north of my house. The nursery owners got together and had a survey done putting Bicycle path on my easement combing the two into one easement.

The town approved this new survey and demand I open up the easement for all parties. Now I have cars and work vehicles running 20 feet from my house all day long. My lawyer says it will cost allot of money to reverse all thats been done in supreme court and that I should just buy the strip of land that used to be Bicycle path form the owner of the nursery to relocate both easement away from my house.

Help

Would it help if went to the town and informed them of their mistake.
If I did buy this strip of land what are the nessassary steps involved? My lawyer said to have a survey done of my land to include the strip Im buying. I think he's wrong?
