| I filed for a chapt. 13 bk in Dec. '99. The attorneys for the mortgage co. have filed a motion to dismiss or alternatively to dismiss with a 180-day bar to refilling. My question is if my case is dismissed is there anyway I can fight to keep my home? Is there a reinstatement period in Illinois? My home went in foreclosure in Oct. '99 what time frame am I looking at before being kicked to the curb, if all else fails? |

| Go forth and hire a bankruptcy lawyer. Your case just got too complicated to handle on your own. The lawyer may be able to amend your filings to avoid dismissal. ------------------ This is not legal advice and you are not my client. Double check everything with your own attorney and your state's laws. |
