What is the name of your state? Oklahoma
I live on a farm and we had a bad ice storm in January that broke one of the power poles on our property. The pole is located on the edge of our wheat field but of course there is an easement with the power company due to this. We were without power for 15 days. The insurance company is claiming they don't owe us anything on this because the power pole is located on the easement granted to the power company. Even though the easement is granted to them the land is still legally ours. Are they correct in this?
