Judgment liens make it impossible to sell a property until the lien is satisfied, I understand, but what about title transfers, such as a life tenancy where the life tenant dies? does a lien prevent that? I'm assuming not, as 1. that would result in the odd situation of a title being held by a dead person, and 2. the transfer itself wouldn't do anything to the lien as it would stay with the property and would still have to be paid off before the property could be sold or recieve loans based on its equity.
