land sale


What is the name of your state? Alabama,
I own 80 acres,the school board ask to buy it,
I said no, thay said thay could force me to sell,
is this true?

**A: is the school board part of a municipality such as county, city or state or is this some private school entity? And why would any school need 80 acres? What are they planning on doing with the land?

a municipality county,the grammer school burned last summer
2001,a couple weeks back tornados struck this area & destroyed
the high school,

Ok, then they can indeed force you to sell by using the power of eminent domain to condemn your property for public use and paying you just compensation.
You may wish to hire an attorney to negotiate with them. Make sure you get a high appraisal.
