landlock access

What is the name of your state? Wisconsin
My grandma has 80 acres of woodland in northern wisconsin but it is landlocked...it has 40acre lots surrounding it on all sides and corners...someone told me that there is a wisconsin law that says access must be given to landlocked land in WI...has anyone heard of this or have a good idea on how to get access
thanks

**A: have Grandma hire a real estate attorney to follow up on this. The first step would be to figure out options for access then negotiate with the affected owner(s). Then as a last resort, litigate if needed.

Is there any chance that a copy of the abtsract (or title insuranxce) that was done when Grandma obtained the property is available? A review of the abstract by a RE attorney may tell you if there WAS access when it was acquired. And if there is an access easemnt, litigation may not end up being necessary. Have you reviewed the condition of title to determine if there is an easement to benefit this parcel?

Also, how long has Grandma owned the property?
