What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan a friend and i bought a lot that was at the tax sale several years ago. the lot was landlocked. sense then the owner of the larger property subdevieded his land and put a road in, the road runs right in front of our lot.can we get a legel access from his road?

**A: yes, by either asking the owner or by suing for a right of way, easemnt etc.

If the developer turns the road over to the municipality, you may be able to use it.
