I signed a lease on Friday for a 2nd floor walkup apt. I find that I physically cannot navigate the steps. Can I get out of my lease?

Please explain? Is there something wrong with the stairs and/or do you have a physical condition that prevents you from normal ingress/egress? Did you walk up and down the stairs to see the property before you rented it?
