Can the renter sue me because a storm caused a tree branch to fall on tennants car? My insurance will not pay for that.

Yes, the tenant can sue you as the property owner. How come the insurance will not pay? Was the tree dead, not trimmed properly, not on your property etc.? The auto insurance of the tenant as owner of the vehicle should actually pay and then go after your insurance company.

My insurance covers the tree falling on a car. We made sure, since the tree is a 70 foot tall pine with a split trunk that we have banded to help it heal.....
