Question
State of Ohio: What liability does a co-signer have other than for the unpaid loan? When my 27 year old son purchased his new car, he had poor credit and had me co-sign the loan. The auto is titled and insured only in his name. He purchased insurance with very low liability protection. If he causes an accident and gets sued for far more than his liability coverage or his net worth, is there any previous pattern for the victim coming back on me, as the co-signer of the loan, for damages???? macdonnall@aol.com
