Texas Property Code, Chapter 53 deals with Mechanic's, Contractor's and Materialman's Liens.
It can be viewed at:

You might try a law library or a large bookstore to see if they have:
Youngblood on Mechanic's and Materialman's Liens in Texas
Eldon L. Youngblood
Format: Hardcover, 400pp.
ISBN: 1887181253
Publisher: Kirk Publishing Company
Pub. Date: October 1995

Also, here is a link to a website with LOTS of sample Texas liens. Just find the appropriate form for your circumstances and click on preview. If you like the form, you can order it online.

Finally, here is a link to a website that discusses mechanics liens and includes SAMPLE forms in the Appendix.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

steve halket

wow, lots of research stuff ... now i am going to have to stay up late tonite.

i've been educating myself with regards to "getting my darn money someway/somehow" i am hoping a good book will clarify my texas mech. lien questions. i did read the book, i believe you or another member told me about ; how to win in small claims court. right now i am trying to figure out who i would love to take to court first.

you have always been very good to reply promptly, giving good information and leads, and i ( and others i am sure ) appreciate it so much.

oh, i can't leave out my appreciation for your partners in crime
(soto speak) the homegurudude, those great cats; bug and rat and last but least, that lawyer who is alway liable.

( and thank you to all the other members that make this site successful )
