Question
My brother sold his property to my mother reserving for himself a life estate. He moved off of the property and she moved in the house, now he wants her to move out and let him move back in with his wife. Who has the right to live on the property? If she has to move, what steps does he have to take to get her to move?

Without knowing the exact terms of the life estate document, I would surmise that he has the right. If she refuses to move court action would need to be filed similar to but not formally a L/T eviction.
