A life lease was given to son so he could have repair work done on home because he didn't own property and now parent is in financial trouble and he claims her mortage company can't take his property because of life lease signed. Wondering if this life lease can be broken because he has lived there 23 years and has never paid property taxes and parent needs help financially.

See a real estate attorney who has dealt with life estates before.
