If you are willing to take back the neighborhood, start calling the local police with respect to the drug dealing and littering on your property. If you are going to be serious, I will give you a tip. Do a search on this BB using the key words Section 8. The topic is Section 8 building next door, July 30, 2000. You may get some good free idears, my dear.
If you need more, just post. Please keep us posted on your endeavors.

Thank you for your tip. I will do some research.I do have one more Question about the drug situation. I live in a small town in Tennesse and here the police tend to overlook things and propertys owned by certain people, is there anyone else higher up I can contact?

Is your town so small that the Mayor doubles as the town drunk? Contact the Offices of the Mayor, Governor, City Council members, DEA, FBI, BATF etc. If it is the case of the good ole boy network, payoffs etc. maybe the Feds would be interested in an undercover operation within the local police force.

Dear HomeGura,
Thank you for your helpful information and your reply to my last entry I am going to call an office anonymously. Its time someone in this town changed the way the justice system works here and it is time for everyone no matter who your family is or how much money you have can get a fair hearing as well as protection. I am also going to research how to get the local Police here a raise so maybe they wont be as tempted to take bribes.(Im learning so much on the Internet who knows I might run for office here myself; even though I am a native of Michigan. It would be funny to see there faces a northerner in office)
