I Have Leased A Mechanic Shop and carlot.
for almost A year.
the city as been asking me to have land scape,
and limit the parking space for my cars to, 270sqf.display area
from .1.750sqf they say I need 6 parking space to my costumers. but if I do that the property willbe at no use,
this property has been a mechanic shop for over 40 years,
and before a leased it was closed for over 2years.
their is any way I can fight the city ..

Have an attorney review the applicable zoning laws. I believe the grandfathering rights were extinguished because of the 2 years of non-use. Therefore the current zoning regulations apply.
