What is the name of your state? Minnesota, but this is a question about mineral rights in Oklahoma.

My husband is trying (also a trust lawyer in Arkansas) to get mineral rights transfered to his name, inherited from his father. The information he has is old and they are having trouble contacting the right places, address are old, phone # don't work. The trustee is supposed to be giving lawyer info/statement checks to husband but he is not...he will shortly be removed as trustee. Very frustrated, been 1 year now nothing being done....Is there somewhere in Ok to contact info. There must be some kind of tax info, who to contact to start getting this mess cleared up..

Thank you in advance for any info you may have.

If this is the incorrect forum, let me know.

FYI. If anyone wants to know I have called the State of OK and they referred me to the Royalty owners Dept. I left a message. Waiting to hear back..Maybe I will solve this after all. The trust lawyer must have an incompetent assistant working for them! Surely there are tax records on this that were under my father-in-laws name.
