    Unhappy misdemeanor theft

I live in tx, about a year ago i was arrested for stealing a tip jar at a bar, which i did not do. I went to court and it was dismissed. Now im trying to rent a house with my wife, is this misdemeanor theft that was dismissed going to come out on my background check and if so can it effect me from getting the house?

I doubt it is going to appear, but you can apply to have the arrest record expunged.
I'm not a lawyer, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
