Missouri Lien Law ?

This is for the state of Missouri.

Could someone please help me with two or three questions?

#1. In what order lien's get paid with proceeds from sale of property? (no tax' s involved)

#2. Do Federal or State Lien's supercede dates other liens are filed ?

#3. If no one can help, I truly need help where I can find this information.

Thank you for any information you can help me with on this issue.
Again the state is Missouri.

It depends, are there still mortgage/s on the property? Is it a foreclosure or you have sold the home and will have to satisfy the liens to produce a clear title to the buyer/s?

ALL liens against the property will have to be satisfied in order to sell it so what does the order have to do with anything? If it is a foreclosure and you wonder if you are still on the line for some of the debt after you lender forecloses the answer is YES.

To Icannister

There are no liens against my property . I only owe for lights , gas ect. Someone has
told me that no matter what, the Federal or State always will have 1st lien, my family would be last. I know labor liens are kind of like that. I have the property paid for. It is not in foreclosure. I have a clear title with no liens. I only owe for regular on going bills.

I just want to know I guess ! I suppose it makes a diff. on sell or not sell before I do die.
I don't have much and would hope my family would get to share what there is.

Thank you for your kindness and time. I would still like to know what order (if any) liens
are paid. If you know of some place I can look this information up that would be great.

Again thank you for your time and interest. B.K

For Icannister

I just want to thank you for your time on this. I think the person I talked to might have had a point. You have answered what I need to know I think. I never intended this to take all the time you put in on it. It is nice to know there are people "out there" that take their time to help those of us that fall short on information needed or wanted. I wish you many wonderful days in your life and those you love. Thank you again. Bk
