i have a question for you all.
heres the situation:
i bought a mobile home brand new 5 years ago. my mother cosigned so i could get it. i have recently (in the last year and a half) had 2 cars repossesed and a computer i used for work repo'ed when i lost my job. i would like to file bankruptcy on everything and start over including the mobile home. is there anyway of doing so and protecting the cosigner. cosigner is only signed on the mobile home. can i let the bank have it and file chapter 7 and protect the cosigner from any garnishments , bad credits law suits ect...??? got myself painted in the corner and need a way out. thanks for any advice offered.
