I used a .com to refinance my existing morgage allwas well
I signed all documents on 2-6 the 3 day cancellation period was up on 2-9. on 2-10 I received a call saying there were two existing morgages 13 years old from the
previous owner.I researched this and by Wednesday 2-14
the new title company had the right documents from the
old title company all was cleared. On thursdai I called and now found out they needed me to payoff the second morgage on the house and need a payout letter from them. I agrre to up the amount of my loan whcih still leaves me 100,000 equity in the home. They advise me since it was an error they will do the paperwork and the interst rate will stay the same. I keep calling them no answers on weds 2-21 I founf out the second morgage compant sent the Payout letter
On thursday I call the new company who advises me they have the letter but I have to start the whole process over
and cannot have the previous interest rate because I didn't pay a $500 lock in fee but I thought I closed the loan on 2-6-01 What should I do?
