i live in alabama. i recently took out a mortgage on the house i live in. however, i filed chapter 13 then converted to chapter 7 the mortgage was included. i later found out that the deed was not in my name. can the company that hold the mortgage foreclose on property that is not deeded to me?:confused:

If the deed was not in your name, how could you have gotten a mortgage and then included the property in your BK? Please explain.
