Anyone knows if this is possible! - Thinking of buying a home but still owe 80 grand for graduate loans. Would a home equity loan or using a line of credit be possible to pay off the educational loan and add it into my mortgage so I could benefit from a better write-off?

**A: if you do not own a home with equity, you can't get a home equity loan or a line of credit.
