| I am a co-owner of property in Massachusetts. Since purchasing the house my partner has gotten into debt and now has bad credit. I have very good credit. My question would be, if the creditors decide to lien the property can they do this if I am a co-owner and have no debt with the creditors. |

| Of course they can. Your partners creditors can file suit, get a judgement lien, foreclose on the lien, sell the property and take his/her share. |
