My mom has been brain washed!

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca

I am in a court battle with my mom who is 80 years old. I feel she has been brain washed by a 40 year old woman to hate me, and to try and remove me from the title of our home. We are joint tenants. My mom is trying to say that when she put me on title of our home over 8 years ago she did not know that i would be part owner. She is lying! She knew because she told me herself. And my mom has owned 2 homes in the past as joint tenants. and had to buy her ex out to have the house we have now. My mom is trying to claim elder abuse. I have not abused her. There is no evidence that i abused her in anyway. My mom wants me out of our home. She is now living with this woman Kelly who started all this. I am trying to get consevatorship over her. It does not look like i will get it. I have lived with my mom for 30 years and this is not her! Kelly has been telling my mom that i am abusing her. After awhile my mom started to believe it. When my mom was living here Kelly called the police on me saying lies to the cops. When the police came they said that there was no abuse my mom was fine. The police told my mom to stay here with me, That Kelly was a busy body. My mom left with her. And that is when all of these problems started. What are the chances my mom will be able to remove me off the title of our home? and what are the chances that i can sue Kelly for brain washing my mom?

No one can guess. Was there a gift tax return filed at the ownership transfer?

Successfully? Slightly above zero. The only reason I give you that good a chance is because I don't know all the facts and there is a possibility there has been a tort committed against you.

So, there was NOT a gift tax return filed. You better see an attorney who will review your rights. You have some problems.

I have been going through my documents and this document says when recorded mail document and tax statement to: then it says my mom's name. At the bottom of the page it says mail tax statement as directed above

That is all related to property taxes, etc.

Tranq is referring to the FEDERAL gift tax return (and possibly state also).

Again, you NEED to see a lawyer
