I live in Florida. I am supposed to give 30 days notice when I vacate my rental, but my work is transferring me. I only have 10 days to pack and leave for my new position. Do I still have to give 30 days notice, or does my landlord have to accept the notice that I give?

You must still give notice, and the 30 days is a moot point because you are leaving well before that time. You must give notice to start the clock so you won't be charged more.
