A friend of mine recently closed on a mortgage loan. The mortgage company only put her on the loan because her boyfriend with whom she lives had horrible credit and did not qualify. He told my husband that at closing his name
was put on the deed and title. This occurred in Dallas,Texas. Is this possible. Or is he blowing smoke.
I thought that the only ones on the deed were the names on the mortgage loan. If that is the case then anyone could be put on anyone elses deed or title even though they are not
financially responsible for the loan.. |
