need a drainage easement vacated

We have a 50 ft. drainage easement that we would like removed so we could put a built-in pool in. A title company told us to get the owners of the property who touches the easement to vacate/release it. It doesn't sound right. How do you find out who the easement is in favor of and how do we get it vacated? Can this be done by deed?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

**A: you need to order a copy of the recorded easement and read it. It may be that the easement agreement can't be changed.
