What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia My mom and dad died and left their house to me and my sister,so the question is,do I need her signature if I want to sign the house over to one of my children? Or would I just have to sign my half over?

You can grant your interest as you please. You don't need the permission of the other common tenant. Was the house properly probated to the two of you?

What is the point of transferring the half interest anyhow? There are tax issues you are incurring for yourself and your offspring by doing so.
