guys ..Huhhh !!!

unmarried now ex boyfriend no longer wants to live in the property that we purchased together. Previous to owning this home jointly with him, I owned on my own. I sold my property to have money to obtain this property together. He was given money as a gift by a family member. He recently advised me that he didn't want to go through with the joint ownership of this property at the time of closing, but thought our problems would get worked out. So we continued with buying this property. Do I have any legal right to, if he opts to buy me out of this house, to ask for the selling costs of my previousley owned home. I had lots of equity in that home, that mainly was taken away by realtor costs, sellers taxes. etc. Since he could have stopped the sale of my old home and stopped the sale of this joint home togther. Now, if we sell or he buys me out, I am left with little money and lost out on the equity of my previous home.

hoping I'm not hopeless in Delaware

You can try but basically you are only entitled to the equity in the current property, since at the time you were not under duress but rather a love is blind situation.
