Neighbors landscaping plan

my neighbor is planting trees that will block my view over the next few years (as they grow taller). he does not seem willing to work with me for a resolution. my home value will be decreased as the trees grow because the view is the major asset of this property. i am willing to work with him to respect his privacy issues. if he will not work with me is there any legal recourse?
