how long does it take to evict someone after 30 day notice is up? I have three kids and no where to go i am looking but haven't found a thing i'm worried we will be on the streets all because my landlord sold house.

It depends on the court system in your State ie. court docket full, backlogged cases, court procedures etc. It normally takes 30 days to get the hearing scheduled and depending on the judge, how much time you will be given by the courts to vacate. The courts could demand immediate vacancy, allow you the weekend or even a week longer than the landlord gives you. Do not count on this though, just count on you moving when the 30 days are up.
