Unhappy

Nosey neighbor harassing my kids.

What is the name of your state? Missouri

I need help. first of all I rent from my parents in a house my grandparents used to live. My family inculding Me have lived on this block for over two generations.
I have been neighbors with these people for over 10 years. My neighbor has a habbit of watching us.in our house outside our house, watches who comes over my friends have complained about this. It is so bad my kids won't play outside because they hate the fact the old lady next door watches them. I have taught my daughters to respect their elders so they don't say anything to prevoke her or anything. they don't go near the fence which is actually our fence, because its by her house.
well yesterday my 8 year old went outside to take out trash, we have a community dumpsters in our alley which is directly behind my house she had just finished and was back in our yard and one of my neighbor's flowers was hanging over the fence in our yard and my daughter smelled the flower thats it! She waited til my daughter got up to our porch and totally went off on her had her in tears and told her she knew she would eventually catch my kids touching her stuff. I had let this go consoled my daughter and did not say anything to her cause I know she would of called the police and said I was harassing her. Her hubby came home and they basically waited outside to see if I would come out and say something. BUT as soon as my hubby came home they were no where to be found
I am tired of the fact we cannot even go outside without them watching us.they even have the neighbors not even saying "hi" to us. We have done nothing to these people. IS there anything legal I can do???

sorry it was long.....thanks

Next time, cut the flower and put it in a vase.

Otherwise, you have the right to your property and to enjoy it as you see fit.

One trick I used to stop a neighbor like this in the past was to borrow a video camera from a friend (although I was too cheap to boy film) and the next time they 'go off' walk outside and start filming.

They don't have to know you don't have film in the camera
